Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Bill and Melinda Gates believe every life has equal value. In 2000, they created the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to help reduce inequities in the United States and around the world.

The foundation's giving reflects its commitment to bring innovations in health and learning to the global community. This grant chart is updated quarterly and is based on funds committed from 1994 to date.

Institute for One World Health

The Institute for One World Health is a nonprofit Pharmaceutical Company that is focused on the development of medicines that are safe, effective and affordable for people with infectious diseases in the developing world.

One World Health's Role in World Health:

    - Identify potential new medicines for diseases disproportionately affecting developing countries

    - Assess the safety and effectiveness of investigational medicines
   
    - Honor international ethical standards for research
   
    - Establish collaborations with partners to manufacture and distribute new medicines

    - Ensure that medicines will be affordable and available for distribution
